So, everyone knows that amazing show on Fox, right? The one co-created by executive producer Tim Minear? The one starring Nathan Fillion? The one they cancelled after less than a season? What? Firefly? No, I'm talking about Drive! It seems that Drive didn't get high enough ratings. It was only the 5th most watched show in its timeslot. Also, it's blamed for dragging down 24's ratings. Because, of course, nothing else could possibly be to blame for that. Not the fact that this season of 24 has by and large sucked. Or perhaps there's another amazingly popular show on at the same time. Heroes, perhaps? No, all Drive's fault. So what, you may be asking yourself, are they putting in its place to fix these waning ratings? Reruns of House. No doubt going to be much more popular than this new show that wasn't given a chance. For being so supportive of right-wing agendas, Rupert Murdoch sure seems fond of abortion. Current Mood: September 29th, 2006:
Everyone who hasn't done so already should check out (My first LJ post in over a month, and it's pimping another blog. Sheesh.) August 11th, 2006:
About half an hour ago, I had an epiphany, but now that I'm at my compy, I can't remember what it was. Oh well, maybe I'll remember eventually. June 21st, 2006June 14th, 2006: OCD Hell 3: The Motion Picture So, when watching AMV Hell 3, I had this funny urge to know what some of those anime and songs used were. Unfortunately, the credits are in (mostly) alphabetical order by editor, and beyond that in no particular order whatsoever. And, in trying to work out the few I wanted to know, I OCD'd out, and decided to make a complete, in order, list of all the clips in AMV Hell 3, including their number in the order, and what timestamp they start and end at. I guess Gamestop's gonna be getting my Star Wars Trilogy DVD set :-/ April 29th, 2006: Quote I found online... "A few weeks ago when the news of the translation of a new story about Judas was out it hit me what the bible really is....fan fiction! You know, people right scrips based on their favorite shows like Star Trek, Babylon 5..etc. The books in the new testament were written about 100 years after Jesus died and in about the 5th century AD a group put together and edited a standard version of the popular stories at the time and thus created what we know of as the bible. So it is really sad that people today literally believe words written by people 1500 years ago whose intellectual claim to fame was that they could read and write." April 26th, 2006:
